Scope and operator
This policy explains how POG.com (“POG,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles information connected with this website. POG is operated by Web Entertainment Limited. It applies to the POG discovery catalog, category listings, search, individual game profiles and related pages.
This policy does not govern a different website merely because POG links to it. When you leave POG, the destination’s notices and controls apply.
Information we process
Information generated when you browse
Web servers and security systems may record standard technical details such as an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, referring page, date and time, response status and similar diagnostic information.
Information you choose to provide
Search terms and other actions you take on the site may be processed to return the feature you requested. POG’s catalog does not require a POG account, and the site is not designed to collect payment details or an on-site game profile.
How information is used
Information may be used to deliver requested pages, remember appropriate preferences, secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, understand aggregate usage, comply with law and improve how visitors find game profiles.
Depending on your location and the activity involved, processing may rely on the need to provide the service, our legitimate interests in operating a safe and useful catalog, compliance with legal obligations or consent where the law requires it.
Sharing and disclosures
Technical information may be handled by hosting, security, analytics and other vendors that support POG. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate misuse, establish legal claims, or complete a corporate reorganization or transfer.
Service providers are permitted to process information only for the work they perform and subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.
Y8 and external services
On supported game profiles, choosing Play creates an embedded frame that loads the playable game from Y8. POG also provides clearly labelled links to Y8. Y8 may provide game delivery, analytics, advertising, accounts and other services within its content. Those activities are governed by the Y8 Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the consent choices presented on POG.
Other third-party links may appear from time to time. POG is not responsible for another service’s content, availability or privacy practices, so review its notice before providing information.
International transfers
POG and the providers that support it may process information in more than one country. Privacy rules may differ between those locations. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguard, the operator or relevant provider should use one appropriate to the transfer.
Retention and security
Information should be kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, troubleshooting, legal and record-keeping needs. Retention periods can vary according to the type of record and the obligations involved.
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect the service, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also be able to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing and complain to your local data-protection authority.
Requests may require enough information to verify identity and locate the relevant records. Some rights are subject to legal limits or exceptions. For a privacy request, email privacy@y8.com and identify POG.com in your message.
Children
POG is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from them. A young person who is permitted to use POG should do so with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required. If you believe a child has provided personal information through POG, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
Updates and contact
This policy may be revised when the service, providers or applicable rules change. The date above shows the latest published version. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site where appropriate.
Questions about this policy or personal-information requests can be sent to privacy@y8.com. Please include “POG Privacy” in the subject line.
